5 Date Night Looks for Valentine’s Day
Valentine's Day is right around the corner and whether you've been with your significant other for years or you're just getting together, you can't stay in and order seamless; unless that's your thing. Since delivery food can't spoon and your nerves could be getting the better of you, I'm going to help you plan your date looks to relieve some of that stress. Here are five looks that will take you to brunch to a romantic dinner.

Date one: Brunch
Avoid a party brunch and make reservations for two.
Brunch is laid back, so don't overdress—especially if it's early morning or afternoon. Find a [good] pair of joggers that fit and keep everything else chill. Since your look is relaxed, elevate it with a signature scent; if you don't have one, here's how to get one.
Date two: Laid Back Dinner
Find a quiet, cozy corner restaurant; the vibe should be casual, but not remote.
This is a chill dinner, and if this is your first date, grab a casual woven and a good pair of shoes. The idea here is to make an impress without overdoing it.
Date three: Happy Hour
Things could go wrong, so pick a place that's not too loud; you want to be able to hear each other. Also, keep the drinks to a minimum—you want to keep your look together and remember your night.
If you're coming straight from work, take off the tie and keep the look relaxed—you are going for drinks. Also, you can never go wrong with a dark palette, and since it's my go-to color, black is never a bad call, but here I opted for Navy—blacks close cousin.
Date four: Day of Exploring
Plan a day for exploring museums, galleries, and a yummy dessert spot.
Day dates are fun, but also very tricky. You don't know how long you'll be out, and if you're exploring, exactly where you'll end up. Play it safe and wear footwear that's comfortable, but also very versatile.
Date five: Romantic Dinner
Now's your chance to impress. Make reservations for the best table in the restaurant, and it may seem old-fashioned, but bring flowers or a gift (avoid the convenient story chocolates).
You want to make an impress on your date, so pull out your best suit and best fragrance. Tell your date days before the two of you will be going to an elegant dinner, and that they should wear their best outfit.
