5-Morning Mantras of Success


We are in the age of the self-doer, the go-getter, and the entrepreneur. We're focused on success and on a different path than our parents; corporate American no longer has the luster and desire it once had, and the millennial has redefined what success is. Success is relative and purely individual based on the desires and aspiration of your life; it will look different for each of us. But one thing all successful people have in common is they wake up ready to tackle their day. How do they do it? They start every morning with simple mantras that give them the extra boost needed to conquer the day. To help you kick start your day, I've gathered five-morning mantras of success.

1. "I am thankful for..."
Showing and giving gratitude can improve your life, and it's as simple as writing down [every morning] five things you're thankful for. From the sun shining to a promotion at work, be mindful and give thanks for the small and bigs things.

2. "Today, my intention is..."
I've talked about goals endlessly here on the site, but goals are the end result of your intentions. Writing down what your intentions are for each day is a reminder of what you are trying to do and where you're trying to go. Guide your purpose and actions for the day with "today, my intention is". 

3. "This is good because..."
Keeping a positive attitude is beneficial to every single aspect of life. We've heard "change your thoughts and you can change your world;" thoughts are the cornerstone of what happens around us so, keeping a positive outlook on situations with not only change your perspective but the outcome. When you run into a stressful situation ask the question, "this is good because" and turn that situation into a learning lesson. 

4. "I see myself doing..."
What do you see yourself doing? Visualize this, and create your vision based on it. Visualization is the key to success and an important technique for reaching your goals. Don't just picture yourself doing something, visualize the sights, sounds, and where you are. 

5. "I am worthy because..."
Many of us struggle with the idea of being worthy enough for success, but successful people remind themselves daily that they are not only capable but worthy. Every morning write down why you are worthy and why you have the ability to achieve success today. The more you tell yourself you are worthy, the more you will believe it. The more you tell yourself something (positive or negative), eventually you will believe it.
