Doodle Print Denim Jacket + S/S Sweatshirt
Is that the weekend I see right around the corner? I think so, and I'm so happy it's here because I need a BREAK, but I will not get one! Since being laid-off things have been moving, and I'm [extremely] thankful for all the opportunities I've received since then.

If you've missed it, I had the opportunity to interview Bevy Smith about how she created her [own] lane and living life on her terms. Behind the scenes of that interview, Bevy invited me to be a guest on her SiriusXM radio show to discuss, you guessed it, fashion and style! : insert ugly cry face: It was an unexpected honor, and I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to do it. I'm sharing all of this with you because you may be feeling like everything is against you, or that you're stuck in your current situation with no positive outcome in sight. I get it, I've been there and still in that space some days, but what I know to be true; when you believe in yourself, do the work, and remain grateful and humble, everything will fall into place. When I was initially laid off, I had no idea what would be next, and honestly, I still don't. I'm just pushing through, taking it day-by-day, and doing the WORK! And that's what you have to do; someone is always watching, even when you least expect it. If you're feeling defeated or like things will never work out, keep going! Never keep up on your dreams, and always believe in yourself.
Now onto the look...This denim jacket is featured in this years trend lookbook, but I loved it so much I had to feature it on its own. The doodle print is hitting both the 90's and printed trend — giving me full on Bad Boy vibes. I'll be wearing this jacket all throughout Spring remixing it with shorts and trousers. In this full look, I paired it with a solid short-sleeve sweatshirt and basic grey denim jeans. Take a look at this jacket and a few other suggestions for your below.
