I'm not going to lie; I'm still recovering from New Year's Eve and trying to get back into the swing of things. The past week has been hectic, to say the least; between holiday parties, time spent with family, hosting our first NYE party, and my grandmother getting admitted into the hospital, I couldn't even tell you what day it is. I had almost two weeks off from the 9-5 and planned on getting some much-needed rest and self-care time, but that didn't happen. Let me tell you; you can try to plan every moment of your day, but when life happens, your plans go out the window. While the time spent with family and friends was fun, I'm ready to get back into work and creating content.
With all that's going on, I needed a very comfortable look for New Year's Day so, I opted for sweats—something I only wear when I'm heading to the gym. Since NYD is at my parents and I wasn't feeling well, sweat joggers were the way to go. I paired them with this wool blend sweater layered over an extended basic t-shirt and overcoat. Comfy, chill, and relaxed, exactly what I needed. How did you kick off the New Year?
