We, as humans, are always changing. Daily we are faced with situations that influence us to change how we think and or act. Things may be right for you during a particular time in your life, but it's an inevitable fact: people and things change. It's because of this that timing will determine if it will stay in your life. We've all heard the saying; timing is everything, and while it's thrown around a lot today, it actually describes the complexity of the movement of life and how it affects all of us. Whether you know it or not, everything revolves around time, and when you begin to understand this, you will be able to use it to your advantage. So, why is timing everything?

When I look back over my career, and when I first started, I applied to a particular company at least once a month for about two years and never received a callback. At the time, I never understood why—I had the experience, the education, and everything listed in the requirements section, but to no fault of my own, I wasn't getting hired. I began to doubt myself and think 'maybe I'm not good enough to work there,' but in reality, it wasn't my time to be there. I stopped applying, and within a few months, I received a call and hired a week later. At that moment, I learned it's not about being qualified or right for a particular situation, it's about holding onto faith and allowing chance and timing to collide—this is why timing is everything.
All too often, we focus on the outcome instead of the rhythm required to accomplish and receive the end result, but everything in life has a rhythm, and it revolves around timing. The art of living has much to do with understanding that you can not control time; you can only manage it. Many of us have issues with not believing in ourselves or believing in things that are not tangible, and too often we get stuck in situations because of fear and because we give up when the outcome isn't what we expect. That moment you give up and stop believing in yourself is the moment you step further away from your true self.
When you begin to understand timing, and how it can impact your life, you can use it as a tool. Timing doesn't work if you aren't doing the work; it allows for everything to fall into place the way it's supposed to be. Embrace that everything that is meant for you, will be for you, and when the time is right, you will receive it. Let it go and let it be, do the work and have faith! Things will happen when they're supposed to; enjoy the process and appreciate the lesson learned—timing is everything. Continue to Live Your Life in Style and always Be Inspired.
